From 200 tickets sold to 47,000+ fans across seven Northern New Jersey events
Flag Cities 2026 — presented by Goya in partnership with Hackensack Meridian Health — was a seven-event fan festival series built around the summer of soccer: giant-screen match viewings, live music and cultural performances, food trucks, vendor villages, and kids' soccer clinics with the NY Cosmos. When ABMG got the brief, the first event was 30 days out and 200 tickets had been sold against a 50,000-ticket target. Seven venues across four counties, a distinct multicultural audience in every host city, and trademark rules that put the most obvious messaging off-limits.
We ran the entire campaign on a sprint clock. Paid campaigns launched with 150+ bilingual ad creatives, a 30-day social calendar, and per-city cultural targeting that matched each event's match schedule to the communities around it — Newark's Brazilian and Haitian fans, Bergen County's Japanese community, East Rutherford's Cape Verdean crowd. Sponsor kits, conversion tracking, and ticketing verification shipped in the same window. Then a 10+ person ABMG crew captured every event live, turning each date into recap content that promoted the next — so momentum compounded across all seven events, drawing fans from 12 New Jersey counties, 32 states, and 21 countries.
